Levski won the first semifinal game against Balkan and took the lead in the series. "The Blues" won at home 89-76 after leading from start to finish. The second game of the series is on Wednesday.

Levski scored the first points of the game and never looked back. However Balkan was close and after the first quarter the score was 22-18. In the second the visitors cut the deficit to one but then the hosts took a 12-point lead. It was cut until the end of the half as the score was 39-33.

Balkan cut the deficit even more, to 41-39, but then Levski responded well and went up by 13 points but by the end of the third quarter Balkan was again back in the game, 61-53 after 30 minutes. The match was decided in the first minutes of the last quarter when Levski made a 14-0 run making it a 22 points game. In the last six and a half minutes Balkan managed to cut the deficit ot 13 but never really threathened the hosts.

Aaron Harper was the top scorer for the winners with 25 points as Donald Cole and Zlatin Georgiev added 18 and 17 respectively.

For the visitors Georgi Davidov had 18 points and 6 rebounds while Jordan Bozov added 13 points.
