Zahariev to show his abilities in Dallas

One of the best young prospects of Bulgarian basketball will take part in Adidas Nations Camp in Dallas, TX. The one invited is Hristo Zahariev who will represent Bulgaria in Team Europe. This summer he was part of the U20 national team that disappointed a lot and finished 9th at the European championship in Division B. The guard though had a few impressive games and overall finished averaging 13.45 points and 5.45 rebounds per game.

Adidas Nations brings together the top 18 and under basketball players to compete in an international exhibition under the guidance of highly esteemed NBA veterans, coaches and players. Individually selected teams from the US, Canada, Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia will all compete in Dallas August 4th – 8th.
Head coach of Team Europe will be the former Siattle Supersonic and Portland TrailBlazer Detlef Schrempf – 16 year NBA veteran and NBA All-Star while the mentor of the team will be Mike Conley from Memphis Grizzlies.

The main focus of Adidas Nations is to educate the world’s top youth players and improve the future success of the game. The Consolation Finals and Finals will be streamed live via free webcast on August 8th at http://www.eastbay.com/adidasnations
