Zlatko Gocevski is the new player of Yambol

Yambol has brought in a new player. Reportedly, the team has agreed a deal with Macedonian International Zlatko Gocevski (206-C-82), who is set to be reinforcement at the power/forward position. Gocevski will be expected to bring in his experience as he played for many teams in his career. Considered as a good scorer, Gocevski will be counted on to help out Yambol to register good result in the upcoming NBL season.

Gocevski made his professional debut at the age of 15 with Delikates Kocani. After 3 seasons at the club and after averaging 20.2 points per game in his last one, Gocevski moved to MZT Skopje in 2000. In 2001, Gocevski won the National Cup with MZT Skopje and that season he averaged 7.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. After 3 years with MZT Skopje, he moved to Vardar in 2003. Gocevski also spent a season in Iceland, where he played for Keflavik during 2005-2006 season. In 7 games for the club Gocevski posted averages of 7.3 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. In 2006 Gocevski returned to Macedonia where he signed with Strumica, with whom he has won the National Title that same season. Following one, Gocevski moved to Feni Inudstri and there he also won the Title (his second in a row) as well as the National Cup. Last season, he averaged 9.5 points and 4.1 rebounds as a member of Feni Industri.

Gocevski was a member of Macedonia National team which qualified for EuroBasket in Poland.
