Rilski Sportist managed to beat Yambol 75-71 at home and after this win they secured the 7th place in A-1. Both teams can be happy, because Dunav 2007 losing to CSKA at home left both Yambol and Rileco in the first 8.

The game was tied in the begining, the two teams changed the leadership often and none managed to get a bigger lead. Anyway Rilski lead it 23-20 after 10 minutes of play.

The second quarter wasn't so good for them, as Yambol played better, and Rilski's shooting wasn't quite good. That took a mark on the score, and Yambol had a 31-36 lead at halftime.

In the second half the team from Samokov started playing press defense and that was a success, as the guest team fell in foul trouble, especially with their first PG Stanislav Govedarov on the line with personal fouls. The third quarter was won by the home side 27-18, and they were on top of the game again.

Early in the fourth Govedarov fouled out and that was really the key moment of the game for both teams, because it was a plus for Samokov, and Yambol were left without the team's best playmaker.

Branko Mirkovic had a good game with 26 points, 5 steals and 4 assists. Momchil Petrov addded 13 points, and Miko Golubovic had 11 and 7 rebounds. For Yambol Kirylo Skumatov scored 26 points, and Govedarov and Martin Horozov had 13 each.
