Spartak Pleven won against Cherno More Eurohold in the first game of the most interesting series of the 1/4 finals of this year's men playoffs. After a perfect second half, the home side didn't leave Varna any chance and won it 88-69.

Hrisimir Dimitrov chose a good time to play his best game this season.  The 33-years old veteran scored 30 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, made 2 assists and 2 steals for a ranking of 35.

Todor Todorov also had a great game, scoring 16 point along with 8 rebounds. Todorov also missed just one shot from the free-throw line, and in his 2-point field goals he was perfect - 7/7.

In the first half, the guests were the better team on the floor, but the quality of the basketball in Balkanstroy Hall was even far from our quality, the "Bulgarian" quallity. Cherno More's ex-player Rosen Sofroniev, was the one who went into play unrecovered and after 20 minutes of play he melt the margin to only 1 point (40-41) after scorrign a buzzerbeater.

3:38 minutes before the end of regulation, Cherno More still had hope of turning things around after losing with 11 - 76-65. In the whole last quarter Varna played press defense. This didn't help and Spartak responded with a 12-2 run. Varna only had power to not let Spartak take the difference over 25 points.
