Euroins Cherno More had a hard time in the first half but then defeated easily Sliven in Hristo Borisov Hall in Varna 96-76.
 
The game started even as the teams were exchanging baskets with the lead changing a lot of times. The favorite in the game - Cherno More couldn't stop the visitors in this moments with Todor Tenev being very active. After a close first quarter the visitors were surprisingly ahead 28-25.
 
The second quarter continued in the same way and even Sliven took a 11-point lead, 49-38. Then the hosts made a 13-2 run to end the first half with a point more for them, 51-50.
 
The intrigue continued for a little in the third quarter. At the middle of it the hosts made a run of 12-0 and they took the advantage for good. After 30 minutes of play the team from Varna was ahead 71-62.
 
In the last quarter the hosts played tough defense and quickly gained a good advantage and close out the game with very good play by Aleksandar Yanev.
 
The best in this game was Yanev who scored 32 points. Corey McIntosh added 17 and 7 assists while Atila Santos fouled out in only 14 minutes but still finished with 13 points and 5 rebounds.
 
For the visitors Todor Tenev was the best with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Three of his teammates scored in double digits - Milen Dimitrov with 16 while Tsvetomir Benchev and Vasil Golov both finished with 14.
 
After this game Euroins Cherno More is tied for 2-4 place with Levski and Spartak Pleven. In next round the team will travel to Pravets to meet Lukoil Academic.
