The domination of Lukoil Academic in Bulgarian championship continues. From 2003 "the students' have no mistake and are taking all their exams with the highest grade. All this has made 7 titles in a row and confirmed the fact that this is the best team at the moment in Bulgaria. In Game 4 of the Finals Lukoil Academic defeated away in Varna Cherno More 85-76. So the series is now over at 3-1 and "the students" will once again celebrate.

Unlike the game from yesterday tonight both teams played a nervous and filled with a lot of turnovers game. Definitely players from both teams looked tired after a very difficult game yesterday.

The first half was very even until Corey McIntosh scored a three-pointer to put his team ahead 32-30 with 4.18 to play. In those final minutes Lukoil Academic made a 9-0 run and took a 7 point lead in to the break.

Lukoil Academic controlled all of the third quarter and after two baskets by Mijovic took a 57-49 lead. In the remaining minute and a half the hosts managed to cut the deficit to three points, 55-58.

Cherno More managed to tie the game at 60 with McIntosh's three. Then came the moment of Hristo Nikolov. He scored 8 of his team next 10 points to make the score 62-70. Atila Santos scored but two fast breaks by Deane and Goldwire made the score 64-74.

With a minute and a half to go the hosts cut the deficit to 5 points but there was nothing more they could do and lost this game which meant new title for Lukoil Academic.

Willie Deane scored 28 points and was a rebounds shy of double-double. Leemire Goldwire added 23 and Nikolov 12 for the winners.

For Cherno More Corey McIntosh finished with 25 points and 5 assists. Santos added 19 points and 9 rebounds while Simeon Tsenov 17 and 8.
