Rilski Sportist beat Cherno More once again

Rilski Sportist recorded a second straight win against Euroins Cherno more this month. In a game for the Balkan League the team from Samokov won 88-77 and the defending champions took their first win of this year's edition of the tournament. Cherno more has a win and two losses while Rilski Sportist is with 1 win and 1 loss.
After very good play by the captain Aleksandar Gruev in the first half, as he had 14 points despite his injury, Rilski Sportist was in front 45-42. The game was decided in the third quarter when the hosts played much better and took a 15-point advantage in to the fourth quarter.
Gruev played 30 minutes despite the pain and finished with 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals before fouling out. Travis Peterson had his best game of the season so far with 27 points and 9 rebounds while David Burgess added a double double - 14 and 10.
For the visitors Krum Doychinov had 20 points and 11 rebounds and was the only one with a good play during most of the game. Aleksandar Yanev scored 17 points, 12 of them in the first quarter.
