Cherno More shocked Rilski Sportist in the quarterfinals
All of the semifinal qualifiers have now been determined
Cherno More Varna shocked Rilski Sportist Samokov and won a second game in a row to close the play-off series at 2-0. Petko Delev′s players won the first game in Samokov by a one point margin and were much more confident in their second win – 89-75 in Varna. Cherno More has now become Rilski′s executioner for the second time this season, defeating them at the quarterfinal stage of both the Cup of Bulgaria tournament and the NBL.
Tundja Yambol is the second team that secured its spot in the semifinals after winning the series against Balkan Botevgrad 2-0. In the first game they won at home by 81-74 and in a close away game tonight they got a 88-85 victory.
Tundja will face Levski Sofia in the semifinal playoffs, after The Blues sent Spartak Pleven packing in the second game too. They won away 90-82 and that made the result in the series 2-0 after their home win in the first game (92-76).
