Levski managed to defeat the team of Spartak Pleven tonight in Sofia. In Triaditsa Hall the hosts won 89-73 and recorded first win after two straight losses.

Levski started better and took a 10-2 lead but shortly after that the visitors were right back in the game. However the margin was between 3-5 points as the first quarter ended 23-20.
Levski scored the first basket in the second but then followed strong minutes for Spartak whoo took the lead and had at time 9-point advantage that then was erased. In the last six seconds of the half Levski scored twice to make the score 39-43 at the break.

In the third quarter both teams were exchanging leads with none being able to take big margin. Good moments for Levski had Stefan Georgiev who was leading his younger teammates. Near the end of the quarter he had to sit on the bench after making his 4th foul as the scoreline was 58-60 after three.

The last quarter started nervously for both sides. With the score 60-63 Zlatin Georgiev made his 5th foul and then received a technical. Hrisimir Dimitrov scored to make it 60-67 but then Levski answered with 16-0 run that gave them the advantage. Spartak cut to 78-72 but then Rob Preston hit a 3-pointer and a foul and secured the win for Levski.
Despite not playing the entire fourth quarter Stefan Georgiev ended on top for the hosts with 17 points and 11 rebouns. Rob Preston added 16 points including three key 3-pointers in the last quarter and Nikolay Varbanov also had a decent game scoring 12 points in important moments.

For Spartak the captain Hrisimir Dimitrov finished with game high 19 points and Bozo Barac added 16 and 7 rebounds
