In Pleven veteran Hrisimir Dimitrov netted 27 points to lead his team to their first victory this season. Spartak Pleven had lost an NBL game to Rilski Sportist and then a EuroChallenge game to Turkish team Antalya Buyuksehir, both at home. Now they had a third home fixture in just one week, but this time they made the Pleven crowd happy - an important 96-89 win versus Levski.  For the hosts young guard Tsvetoslav Ostrev was the one that decided the outcome of the game, scoring 2 of his 3 treys in the dying minutes. He also had a total of 13 points. Sasa Topchov was dominant in the paint this time around and finished with a double double - 19 pts and 12 rbs. American forward Rob Preston punished his former team with 14 points.

Asen Velikov, playing against his father Darin (coach of Spartak Pleven), was the best player for the visitors tonight, scoring 26 (3 from "downtown"). American guard Marcus Hall added 19 pts and 7 rbs. He had a poor 2pt FG percentage though - just 4 for 15. His compatriot, veteran forward Dwayne Morton was a shadow of himself tonight and failed to score a single point in 21 minutes of playing time.

Powerhouse Vasil Evtimov made his debut for "The Blues", scoring 12 points and grabbing 8 rebounds for his impressive efficiency rating of 14, considering he only played in the second half.
