Spartak Pleven coach Darin Velikov expects his team to play in a cauldron-like atmosphere when they take on Antalya in their EuroChallenge second-leg clash on Tuesday.
The Turkish club won the first game between the sides last week in Bulgaria, 87-83, but Velikov believes his team will overturn that deficit and advance.
"We are not feeling like we are doomed to failure against Antalya," he said. "We know it will be very hard. They are strong team and they are hosts. Anyone who hasn't played in Turkey doesn't know about the support that local fans give to their teams. It will be a nightmare for us. Anyway, we will play our game. It will be a game for our pride and honor. We have our chances, even though they are down to the minimum. We have to use them."
Spartak have arrived in Turkey in confident mood because in their last game on the domestic front, Velikov's men won against Levski Sofia 96-89.
"I am pleased that we won our last game in the Bulgarian championship," Velikov said. "I believe we will win in Turkey."
