A game about which whatever we say for one of the team will be little and whatever we say about the other will be too much. The game started 8-0 for 3.15 minutes of play and at this moment it became clear what the game would be. The movement of the score was in one way, one team was playing while the other was watching for most of the time. Levski defeated Spartak Pleven 117-72 and crushed the hopes of the fans that this would be the derby match of this round. The only good thing for Spartak were the fans of the team who supported their team for the whole 40 minutes.

The players of Titi Papazov teached their opponent a lesson and at moments the difference in score was 46 points. After 10 minutes of play the score was 32-13 and then the visitors reacted with only 8 points in the second quarter as Levski had a 57-21 lead at the break.

In the second half Darin Velikov and Titi Papazov used all their players. Both coaches were probably thinking already for their next games as Levski will visit Rilski Sportist in Samokov while Spartak will host Euroins Cherno More and will have to win to have a chance for a top three finish at the end of the regular season.

Excellent game had the best guard in the championship this season Marcus Hall who finished with 33 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists for 30 minutes. Stefan Georgiev had 21 points and 8 rebounds while Arnas Kazlauskas scored 12.

Asen Velikov finished with 15 points and Pavel Ivanov with 10. Stanislav Slaveykov was back after an injury and had 7 points and 5 rebounds in 16 minutes.

For the visitors from Pleven Aleksandar Dyakovski was the top scorer with 13 points. The other guard Vladimir Marinov had 12 while Hrisimir Dimitrov 11.

Titi Papazov made a present for his charming wife Margaritha because of today's feast day of her name. She also received flowers sent especially by the head coach of the national team Pini Gershon and his assistant Avi Kowalski.

This win was 15th for Levski and almost certainly guaranteed the second place for the team.
Spartak Pleven has a good schedule until the end - 3 home games and 1 away against Sliven. So Darin Velikov and company will have to know that games like today's one can happen but will have to forget it because the team's potential is much bigger.
