Euroins Cherno more is the last semifinalist

In the last quarterfinal of the Cup Finals in Yambol Euroins Cherno more defeated Spartak Pleven. Spartak played better in the first half but the team from Varna improved in the second and won the game 76-68.

Euroins Cherno more started strong the game but Spartak turned the score and took a 22-18 lead after the first ten minutes. The team from Pleven increased the lead to 7 in the second quarter and later even to 8. Until the end of the half Cherno more played good and cut the deficit to only 2 points, 41-39 for Spartak.

After the break Cherno more took a 50-44 lead but Spartak cut the lead to 1, 52-51 with a minute to play in the third quarter. The team from Varna scored the next 4 points and entered the last ten minutes with 5 point lead. The first double digit lead of the game was registered with the score 64-53 for Euroins Cherno more. Until the end of the game the team managed to held on to its lead and qualified for the semifinal.

18 points for the winners scored Dimitar Mirakovski and Aleksandar Yanev. The former Spartak captain Hrisimir Dimitrov had 13.

For the team from Pleven Iliya Stankov finished with 17 points, Joe Kennerly had 16 and Tsvetoslav Ostrev added 12 points.
