Sasho Gruev signed to play in Romania
Bulgarian point guard Aleksandar Gruev will continue his career in Romania. The 28-year old player has signed a contract with CSU Atlassib Sibiu and will play for the team next season.
Last year Gruev started with Levski, than played for Iranian team Melli Haffari Ahvaz, Slovenian Zlatorog Lasko and then finished the season in Dinamo Tbilisi. Before that Gruev was a long time servant of Rilski Sportist, with whom he won the Eurohold Balkan League back in 2009.
Gruev will join his new team on 1 August to start the preparation. Last season CSU Atlassib finished 10th in the Romanian league but for the new one their ambitions are higher and the aim is to reach the playoffs.
