Elan Chalon signed with Shawnta Rogers
Even Lamont looks "big" next to Rogers
One of the most charismatic playmakers in Europe will be back in the ULEB Cup next season, as Elan Chalon has announced that Shawnta Rogers inked a one-year deal with the team.
Rogers (162, 31) arrives from Le Mans Sarthe Basket, where he averaged 7 points and 2.7 assists in 3 games.
He played the 2006-07 ULEB Cup with Belgian side Dexia Mons-Hainaut, where he averaged 12.3 points on 86.7% free throws, 4.6 assists and 1.6 steals. He ranked fourth in assists at the end of the regular season.
Rogers has also played for Ticino and Cantu in Italy, Adecco Asvel in France and the Baltimore Bay Runners in the IBL. Rogers is now ready to play his third ULEB Cup season with as many teams.
