Difficult victory for Spartak in Pleven

In an even and nervous game, the team of Spartak Pleven win against Balkan Botevgrad as hosts with 88-81. Thus, the guys from Pleven signed their second success in a week and will prepare for the revenge in Greece next Tuesday.

Spartak started well, taking advance from the same beginning. After the first quarter the result was 23-16 in their favour. However, during the second period, Balkan played better and not only tied the result, but took the leadership for a while. Anyway, the hosts succeeded doing it and went to the locker room with 1 point advance – 42-41.

The second half seemed to be rather tough, unpredictable and dynamic. Finally, the players of Darin Velikov triumphed.

The captain Hrisimir Dimitrov scored 20 points. Ilia Stankov added 13 points and 8 rebounds and the heroes from Tuesday – Sasa Topcov and Vladimir Jojc made 11 each.

For Balkan, Ivan Lilov scored 23 points, while Pavle Boljkovac added 16.
