CSKA defeated Levski for second time

The team of CSKA Interlogic delighted its fans today in Hristo Botev Hall by defeating their biggest rival Levski by 90-82, winning for second straight time against The Blues.
The derby game of this round started evenly matched and until 5-6 for Levski the lead was changing. Then CSKA scored 5 quick points to take the lead. In this first quarter the visiting players made a lot of mistakes in offense and defense and CSKA went up 28-14 at the end of it.
In the first minutes of the second quarter both teams couldn't score. CSKA broke the deadlock but from then on started the strong minutes for Levski. Thanks to their zone defense they forced a lot of mistakes by the hosts and managed to cut the lead to 42-39 at the break.
The third quarter started with a basket for CSKA but Levski completed its comeback after a triple by Zlatin Georgiev to take a 47-46 lead. CSKA hit back but Levski made a good run and the score was 49-53, biggest margin for the visitors. Then The Reds made 6-0 run and again restored their advantage. With the score 60-56, Yulian Radinov hit 5 quick points as Levski again took the lead, but unfortunately for them, for last time in the game. A triple by Henderson and basket by Hadjisotirov made the score 65-61 for CSKA after three quarters.
In the last quarter both teams went for the win as Levski managed to cut the deficit to 69-68 after a Dikov basket. He wasn't able to score the free throw and tie the game and after that CSKA took advantage by destroying Levski with the team's great 3-point shooting. They scored 6 3-pointers in the last quarter and went on to take the win.
Mike Henderson and Ludmil Hadjisotirov were the keys for CSKA's success. The first finished with 24 points and the second with 22 including three 3-pointers in the last quarter.
For Levski Zlatin Georgiev ended with 18 points and Stanislav Slaveykov added 16.
