Levski sent letter to Aris regarding Varbanov

The board of BC Levski published on team's official website that they have sent a letter to greek team Aris regarding the information that Nikolay Varbanov is on the verge of signing with the team. In this letter is written that the player still has a running contract with Levski and the actions of his agent are disturbing.

In the letter to the Greek team, BC Levski says that for the team is an honour that a team like Aris is interested in Varbanov and are ready to negotiate any possible deal. Absolutely against any logic is the behaviour of his agent who wants the player that he represents to sign a contract with another team while Varbanov is still having a running contract with BC Levski.

BC Levski do not intend to stop the development of the player and will have in mind the desire of Varbanov but it's not tollerable this to be happening under the pressure from his agend and behind the back of the team which still owns him.

BC Levski is declaring also its respect for Aris and is informing that this case will not hurt in any way the reports between the two organizations.

The board of the team is hoping that Nikolay Varbanov as well as all other Levski players to be key figures in the national team and to help Bulgaria to qualify again for European championship.
