Stoykov - best player in ULEB Cup history, Papazov with most wins for Lukoil

Todor Stoykov remained as all time leader in a lot of ULEB Cup's individual classifications. After the tournament officially was renamed and united with other one from FIBA, the Bulgarian will remain as the best player in almost all of the cattegories in whole history of ULEB Cup.
With his 914 total efficiency, (15.2 average per game) Stoykov is ahead of Jamey Arnold (883) and Mario Austin (862) in the standing for the best player in the tournament.
He was 13 points away from reaching the 1000-point mark in the history of ULEB. Despite that Todor remains as the top scorer ever with 987 points (16.5 average), second is Corey Brewer with 845 and third Jamey Arnold with 787. This is the place to mention that if Stoykov had received more chances last year he would have certainly passed this mark.
Stoykov is placed first also in assists with 169 total. Another player who was in Lukoil Academic Lamont Jones is the best in assists average per game with 5.13 in his 32 games.
Stoykov has scored most baskets - 309 or 5.2 per game. The captain of Lukoil Academic has scored 155 three-pointer followed by Brewer with 119 and Desmond Mallet with 104.
Also Stoykov is the most fouled player - 268 times, against Brewer's 265 and Felipe Reyes's 237.
Todor Stoykov is also the first player with triple-double in the tournament. On November 11th 2003 he finished with 33 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for his team's 116-115 win after three overtimes against KK Zagreb.
Another ex Lukoil Academic player Priest Lauderdale has the highest field goal percentage - 67.2% after scoring 125 times from 186 attempts.
Lukoil Academic was the only Bulgarian representative in ULEB in the years of the competition. For that time the team played 60 games and finished with 33 wins and 27 losses.
Konstantin Papazov remains in the history as the best coach who was in charge of Lukoil Academic in ULEB Cup. Titi has the best balance wins/losses - 14 wins and 10 losses, followed by Zeljko Lukaic with 8 wins and 6 losses, Slobodan Nikolic 7 and 5 and Marin Dokuzovski with 4 wins and 6 losses.
Papazov has most wins with Lukoil Academic outside Bulgaria - 5(Estudiantes, Zeleznik, Turk Telekom, Cantu and perhaps the biggest one ever against Dynamo in Moscow), followed by Lukaic (Pau Orthez, Artland and Ventspils) and Nikolic (Opel Skyliners, Demon Astronauts and KK Zagreb) with 3 and Dokuzovski has only one, against Ostende.
Papazov holds also the best successes for Lukoil Academic in Europe - the wins over Adecco Estudiantes (2 times), FMP Zeleznik (2 times), Cantu (2 times) and Dynamo Moscow as we also have to mention the great with from December 2nd 2003 against Real Madrid with 93-91 with Nikolic in charge.
Papazov is the only coach with in 1/8 finals phase defeating Crvena Zvezda in Sofia 85-82, while Lukaic and Nikolic only reached this phase without taking wins.
If we add also that Titi has led the national team of Bulgaria in another 20 official games (16 for men and 4 for women), this makes him the coach with most participations in Europe in the last year - 44 games in total. From those he has won 24 times.
