First win for Spartak
Spartak defeated Chernomorets

Spartak Pleven managed to take first win of the new season. This was fact after they defeated at home Chernomorets Burgas 94-91.
Spartak surprisingly won only the first quarter. The strong start allowed the team to have a 33-21 advantage after it. In the middle of the second though the visitors cut their deficit to only three points but then the hosts did increase their advantage again, 55-46 at the break.
At the start of the second half Spartak managed to maintain its advantage but the visitors weren't giving up. They cut the deficit to 5, but at the end of the third it was 8. In the last quarter Chernomorets tried everything to complete the comeback but they only managed to come close to 2 points difference but for more there was no time.
Joe Kennerly was the top scorer for the winners with 22 points adding also 11 rebounds. Iliya Stankov had 21 points while Hrisimir Dimitrov 19 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds.
For the visitors Bruce Brown finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds as Martin Durchev and Dwyane Morton scored 18 apiece.
