BGbasket.com starts a charity campaign for the head of the Referee Committee at the Bulgarian Basketball Federation Vladimir Tsekov.
On the 2nd of July, a day before he turns 50 years, he had a motorcycle accident. At this stage his life in not in danger, but there is a daily risk of worsening of his condition after the surgeries.
Right now he is paralysed from the chest below and has a permanent fever. According to the doctors’ opinions there is a chance for full recovery, but the process will be long and further spinal surgeries will be necessary. Only the first stage of the treatment will cost 50 000 euros and his family is not able to pay this amount.
The team of BGbasket.com are asking everyone – his friends, colleagues, people dedicated to sports, to be supportive and help Vlado be healthy again.
