CSKA played very good game and defeated heavily Lukoil Neftochimic in Burgas 81-55. The Reds controlled the game from first to last and took good advantage in their quest for three cups this season.
CSKA and Lukoil Neftochimic played an even first quarter after which the visitors held a 21-17 lead. The second quarter was a disaster for the hosts. Their offense didn't run well as they scored only 9 points compared to CSKA's 19 and practically lost the game in this first half.
The things didn't change much in the third quarter. The visitors from Sofia continued to control the game and increased their lead to 19 points before the final quarter. In the last nothing interesting happened as CSKA managed only to move further ahead and won this first game of the Final series by a huge margin of 26 points.
Five players of CSKA scored in double figures as Natalia Topalova played one of her best games this season finishing with 17 points. Tanja Cirov added 15 and 7 rebounds. For Lukoil Neftochimic Radostina Slavova was the top performer with 19 points and 5 rebounds.
The second game is tomorrow in Burgas and the home team must look to change something to win this game in order to keep their chances of retaining the title.
