Levski is sending four players to USA

Four players from Levski will stay in USA during the whole month of June. Veselin Veselinov, Rostislav Dikov, Iskren Ivanov and Rob Preston are all included in Summer tour of “Athletes in action”. The first three are flying tomorrow for Ohio. The fourth one, Rob Preston will join them there. The promoter of the event is former Levski point guard Lawrence Sharrett, who was in the team of coaches Lubomir Minchev and Toni Bojankov during the 2005/06 season. Last year he played under Ivan Cholakov in Yambol.

“The primary idea was to send the whole team of Levski there but when we realize that we can’t do it that way, we decide that will not stop anybody”, said the president of Levski Yulia Boyanova. “Everybody has a contract with Levski. We will keep our current roster and will have bigger ambitions for next year.
Boyanova also announced that Preston has a desire to come back in levski for the upcoming season and the management of the club is happy with him and what he did over the last year.The other news in Levski are that the management is talking to Yulian Radionov for eventual signing of new contract. He is recovering and Boyanova hopes he will be back in Levski for next year.
