Cekovski in Ukraine

Macedonian forward Giorgji Cekovski is now a player of Ukranian team Cherkasy Monkeys. Yesterday he signed a one year contract with the team that reached the semifinal stage in Ukranian Superleague. There they lost 0-3 the seriest against the future champion Azovmash Mariupol. The team reached also the 1/4 final stage in FIBA Challenge Cup. Personally Cekovski and the Director Kiril Pogostinskiy have signed the document.
For this Ukranian team has played another former Lukoil Academic player - Nenad Pistoljevic.
26-year old Cekovski played three seasons for Lukoil Academic and won three titles and two cups of Bulgaria. Last season he played 38 games averaging 9.82 points and 5.16 rebounds.
He played two times in HDI All Star Game in Bulgaria. Before coming to play in Bulgaria Cekovski played in Pristina, Kosovo and before that played five years for his first team - Rabotnicki Skopije. He is also a part of Macedonian National team.
