Benetton signed turkish guard
Benetton Treviso continued to revamp its backcourt Friday with the addition of guard Engin Atsur on a three-year contract.
Atsur (193, 23) arrives after a four-year stay at North Carolina State University. Last season he averaged 11.3 points and 4.2 assists in 34 minutes for the Wolfpack. He played for Turkey last summer at the World Championships in Japan, where he posted 6.1 points and 1.2 assists per game in nearly 16 minutes during 9 appearances as his team placed sixth.
Atsur is the second guard to join Benetton this week after Lionel Chalmers also signed.
