CSKA wolfed Dimitar Marincheshki

It became clear today that one of the young talents of Bulgarian champion Lukoil Academic – Dimitar Marincheshki – will be a player of CSKA this season. The details around the transfer of the youngster are not known yet, but it is certain that the management of the club is highly interested in having him in their lines and Mitko will wear the jersey of the red squad.
Dimitar Marincheshki was born in 1990 and is 200sm tall. Until now he has been playing only for Lukoil Academic, but this has not prevented him from having in his collection medals from almost all juniors’ championships of Bulgaria.
Last season, the 17-year-old Mitko competed for the Juniors U16 and U18 teams of Lukoil. At the final tournament for Juniors U16 in our sea-capital Varna, Marincheshki and his teammates could not overwhelm the fastly developing team of Cherno More IG and satisfied themselves with the silver medals. At he Juniors’ U18 finals, however, nothing could stop the guys of the current assistant coach of the men’s team of Lukoil Academic – Yordan Kolev and they grabbed the trophy.
The skills and talent Marincheshki possesses did not stay hidden from the national teams’ coaches and he was called to represent Bulgaria at the Men U18 European Championship in Madrid from 3th to 12th August, where our boys went on the 14th place in the final standings.
The new season started tremendously for Mitko. His Lukoil Academic took part in the friendly tournament “Hristo Borisov” in Varna, in memory of the basketball legend – Hristo Borisov. Despite the fact that Lukoil performed under their abilities, Marincheski demonstrated excellent technique and good sports shape. The 200-sentimetres-tall boy deserved the award for Best Scorer of the Tournament, scoring an average of 20.7 points per game.
Right after the end of the qualifying tournament in Pravets, Dimitar Marincheshki is supposed to join his new teammates of CSKA and prepare for the upcoming season.
