CSKA Interlogic reached second success in a row for the new season. This time “The Reds” won with 81-66 at the inhospitable “Vasil Levski” Hall in Sliven.
The first quarter happened to be tied as expected. However, the players of Rosen Barchovski won by 23-22. The second period was not more different and both teams were so close to each other. Thus the half time came with 1 point advance for the guests – 41-40. CSKA Interlogic made the strike in the beginning of the third period. They were leading 51-43 after three minutes playing. The hosts from Sliven succeeded for 56-59, but 4 points in a row for CSKA gave them a solid advance.
In the last quarter the experience of some of the CSKA players was obvious and therefore their celebrated their second win in three days. The one who brought the victory was Georgi Davidov with his 17 points and 11 rebounds. Hristo Nikolov added 15 points. For Sliven, Nikolay Dinev and Dimiter Petkov scored 14 points each.
