Yambol continues without a victory

The team of Yambol signed their third loss in the national championship. In their own “Diana” Hall, the players of Ivan Cholakov were overplayed by Cherno More Eurohold. The game started good for the hosts and they even were leading for a while. The guys from Varna showed defensive skills and very soon took the leadership in their hands. In this third game, just like the two before, the Ukrainian forward Kirilo Skumatov made three personal faults in the first quarter. The second period was full of turnovers and less attractive moments. Thus the break came with the result 38-41 for Cherno More. After the pause, as if completely different teams came out on the court. Both teams were highly motivated and were struggling for each ball. The hosts took the advantage, but at the end of the third period made a few unforgivable errors and therefore at its end, they were leading only by 2.
Unexpectedly, Yambol started playing very chaotic. Cherno More, lead by Leven Belberov could not miss that opportunity and turned the result in their favour. Simeon Tsenov demonstrated excellent shooting skills and finished with 26 points. Yambol missed too many times under the basket and ended the period with only 9 points. Thus they left the gym, ashamed and disgraced, losing with 71-83.
For Yambol, the best on the playing ground was again Dimitar Angelov. For Varna, except for Belberov and Tsenov, very good acted also Augustinas Vitas who scored 15 points.
