Levski defeated CSKA Interlogic with 110-82 in a game previously said to be a derby. “The Blues” showed no mercy and dictated the situation on the court during the whole game. They were leading in the first quarter yet – 33-12 and after another 35 points in the second period, they went into the half time with the result being 68-36 in their favour.

After the break CSKA came to conscious due to the not so strong defense of the players of Levski, but did not impress the audience in “Triaditsa” Hall with their performance. “The Reds” made too many mistakes and showed no idea in defense.

Levski were much better under the basket, grabbing most of the rebounds. The hosts also finished with the amasing 29 assists. Although, the game ended with 28 points difference, it happened to be quite an attractive one, full of dunks, steals, fast breaks.

The best scorer for Levski was the captain of the team Stefan Georgiev who was almost perfect in his stats. The elder brother scored 23 points, took 10 rebounds and gave 3 assists, missing only one of his 10 attempts from the 2-points-line. Stanislav Slaveikov finished with 22 points. Rostislav Dikov (9 assists) and Zlatin Georgiev (7 assists) added 15 each.

For CSKA it was only Georgi Davidov who acted on his high, scoring 25 points and 8 rebounds. Payne made 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Thus, Levski are on the second place in the current standings with 12 points as many as the third one Cherno More Eurohold.
