No problems for Levski against Sliven

The team of Levski recorded another win in the championship. This time The Blues had no problems defeating Sliven 96-68 in Triaditsa Hall in Sofia.

The hosts started well and took 7-0 lead. The visitors though didn't panic and got back to 11-14. Since then to the end of the quarter Levski had serious advantage and took the score to 31-19 after one quarter. The second quarter was more even thanks to the big number of mistakes made by the hosts. So the home side increased the advantage by only two points and the score at the halftime was 53-39.

At the start of the second half all chances and hopes of Sliven were over. Levski started very strong the third quarter and after good play in those ten minutes the team increased its advantage to 29 points. The last quarter was only a formal thing and to be fixed the final score. So Levski recorded another victory and remained in a strong position in the championship.

The captain of the hosts Stefan Georgiev was unstoppable under the basket and scored 22 points in 19 minutes. Veselin Veselinov finished with 13 and Pavel Ivanov added 12=
For the visitors Stoyan Petkov was the top scorer with 15 points while Nikolay Dinev ended up with 13.
