Levski saved a headache in the second half

The team of Sliven played very good first half against Levski but unfortunately that wasn't enough to get anything from the game. After these good first 20 minutes the hosts were crushed 58-90 a result that let the visitors remain calm in second place after the first phase of the championship.

The players of Sliven started strong and as the visitors were playing really bad they took the early advantage. Levski played a poor first quarter scoring only 8 points compared to Sliven's 15.

Sliven continued to play really good at the start of the second quarter and the lead went up to 29-19. However after that Levski finished the half with a 13-3 run to tie the score at 32-32.

After the screams of head coach Lubo Minchev at the break the players of Levski went out mobilized to prove they are the better team. After very good defense in this third quarter they went up by 17 points setting up a comforting last quarter.

However they still continued to play in the same style and managed to put up another 15 points on the advantage making it 32 points at the end.

The captain Stefan Georgiev was the top scorer for the visitors with 15 points adding also 6 rebounds. Stanislav Slaveykov scored 15 and Yulian Radionov 12.

For the hosts, playing without Nikolay Dinev and Penyo Natskin, very good game had Stoyan Petkov who finished with 28 points and 7 rebounds.
