Dunav Econt had no difficulties winning its second game against Rilski Sportist and qualified for the finals of the Bulgarian “Ledenika” Cup. The game was played at “Arena Samokov”, but even the support of the fans couldn’t help Rislki Sportist and they lost 59-85. After that victory Dunav is going to face the other favourite for the title – Lukoil Neftochimic.

The team from Rouse started well from the beginning and after 15 minutes of play they were already leading with 20 points (35-15), and letting only 8 points in the second quarter at the half time they were ahead by 22 (43-21).

The hosts started playing better at the beginning of the second half of the game and managed to cut the lead twice to 14 points but that was the closest they could get. In the last 10 minutes the difference crossed 30 points but that didn’t matter anyway because the winner was already obvious.

All the players listed in the protocol for Dunav Econt took part in the game. The young star Daniela Peteva was the best on the court for her team and scored 17 points, adding 8 rebounds. The former Rilski Sportist player, Petya Djambazka added 16 points (3 triples) and the veteran Diana Naydenova was skillfully organizing the plays for her team finishing with 11 points and 7 assists.

For Rilski Sportist as usual Agnessa Doychinova was the top performer. She finished with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Galina Stancheva also played well adding 10 points.

Rilski Sportist's head coach, Ivan Lepichev, also managed to use all his players in the course of the game. There were just 2 girls with more than 30 minutes on the court. Tomorrow, after only 18 hours of rest, the team from Samokov is going to play for the bronze medals against Beroe 07.

The final between Dunav Econt and Lukoil Neftochimic is on Wednesday, 18:00 at "Arena Samokov".
