First home win for Levski over Rilski this season

The team of Levski recorded another victory over Rilski Sportist. This time after a strong final The Blues defeated their visitors 104-75 in Triaditsa Hall. However that was the first win over Rilski sportist at home as Levski lost their previous game against the same opponent.

The game started interesting and was even at the start. Then Levski took a 20-12 lead and managed to keep advantage until the end of the quarter that finished 31-26.

The start of the second wasn't good for Rilski Sportist. They allowed few 3-pointers and quick breaks by their opponents as the margin went up to 15. However at the end of the half the visitors managed to cut the deficit to only 5.

After the break the guests tried to turn the things around but continued to make stupid mistakes. Despite the mistakes they continued to be in the game. Near the middle of the quarter the comunication between the players was broken and they allowed Levski to built an advantage of 76-64 after three.

The last ten minutes were a disaster for Rilski. The players totally stopped their team play and were everybody for himself. This allowed Levski to have fun on the court and to build a monstrous 29-point advantage.

The Georgiev brothers played best for Levski today. Zlatin finished as top scorer for the team with 25 as his brother Stefan scored 22 adding also 8 rebounds.

For Rilski Sportist Santos Martinez and Miko Golubovic were the ones worth mentioning. Martinez again finished with double-double, 26 points and 10 rebounds as Golubovic scored 14.
