“Athletes in Action” visit Sofia and Samokov
After the game in Sliven

The program for “Athletes in Action” will visit Sofia and Samokov for three games in the next couple of days.
“Athletes in Action” arrived on the 24th and trained in Sliven for 4 days. On the 27th they defeated Yambol 92-82 and on the 28th defeated a combined Sliven/Yambol team 96-77. They had a opportunity to meet the major of Sliven Jordan Letchkov. As we know, two players form their program are part of the first team of Sliven – Lawrence Sharrett and Jeremiah Boswell.
Before each game they had a special hour where kids could come and sharpen their basketball skills as well as play fun games with the players.
Today feom 10.00 to 13.00 o’clock “Athletes in Action” will have seminar for Bulgarian basketball coaches in Bulgarian Army Hall in Sofia. Later they will play in the same gym versus CSKA with tip off 17.00 o’clock.
Tomorrow, at 10.00 “Athletes in Action” play against Levski at Triaditsa Hall and right after the game will travel to Samokov to face Rilski sportist at 19.30 local time.
“Athletes in Action” will leave for Czech Republic on June 1st where they will play five games including one against the Czech National team.
