Montana 2003 team captain Tsvetomila Petrova signed a one year contract extention with the club from her home town. Also at the Mladost hall in the Northwestern Bulgarian town of Montana the fans will be happy to see once again experienced forward Rumyana Nikolovska. The player spent the latter half of last season in Spain with Arxil Comervia (LF2), but will start the new season in Montana once again.

Youngster Gergana Ilianova and the Best Defensive Player of the Bulgarian womens league Nadezhda Simeonova have undergone surgery and will now have special splints on their legs for at least 20 days. They both had torn cruciate ligaments in their knees.

Montana 2003 team coach Slavko Dimitrov is hopeful for a positive outcome of the ongoing negotiations with champions Dunav Econt concerning a new loan period for guard Marieta Karchovska and power forward Zheni Dimitrova. Both were loaned from the Rouse club to Montana 2003 for the entire season 2007/08 and were key players and fan favorites at the club.
