Serbian Nenad Canak will play for Lukoil Academic one more year, after the club and the player reacehd an agreement and signed a contract. Canak played good last season, as he was back-up for Pero Antic at the power forward.
Last year the Serbian came to Lukoil Academic after spending two seasons with ALBA Berlin.
"Canak is one of our best players. He is really valuable. Without shining, he helped the team a lot. We are happy that he will stay with us for another season, because we are sure that he will help us with his experience" Sasho Vezenkov said.
Nenad Canak was born on the 24th of April in 1976. He starts his career in Partizan in 1992, where he plays two years. After that from 1996 to 1999 he is in Spartak Subotica, and in the summer of 1999 he returns to Partizan. Canak stays there until 2003, as the team plays in the Adriatic League and in the Euroleague.
In 2003 he goes to Vojvodina, and next season he transfers to Makedonikos. He moved to Alba Berilin in 2005.
