Macedonian takes control in Rilski Sportist

Macedonian Aleksandar Todorov is the new head coach of Rilski Sportist, according to the team's official website. The young specialist signed a contract with the team from Samokov.
Todorov is born on July 17th 1973 in Skopje. He starts his career as an assistant in MZT Skopje in 2000. In 2001 he is head coach of KK Kumanovo, and after that he is two years in a row in Vardar Skopje. He has also coached Fon Struga and Chukurova University in Turkey. Last season he starts in MZT Skopje, but he leaves during the season. From 2002 Todorov is vicepresident of the coaches' association in Macedonia.
Todorov was head coach of the U16 National Team in 1998 and assistant in the U20 formation in 2000 and 2001. He has also been an assistant coach in the men's NT from 1999 to 2002 and last summer with Jovica Arsic.
"Aleksandar Todorov is the new head coach of the men's team, but he will also be connected with the youth teams," said executive director Borislav Chilingirov. "Our goal is that next season we play in NBL, and be one of the top Bulgarian clubs."
Petko Delev is leaving, after his contract expired.
