National team player Deyan Ivanov left his team Split to join Zadar. The Bulgarian who left good impressions in Croatia last season will be one of the new players of the champions.
The chairman of KK Zadar Christian Magas confirmed for "Vecernij list" newspaper the news.
KK Split with Ivanov lost exactly from Zadar the final of the Croatian championship.
KK Zadar finished second in the regular season of Adriatic League and played the semifinals of the competition. The team is expected to play in ULEB Cup or Eurocup(as the new name) next season, so Deyan Ivanov will have the possibility to play on bigger stage.
