100 Bulgarian fans will have the chance to go to EuroBasket 2009 in Poland thanks to the Bulgarian Basketball Federation. The federation will take all the expenses and the fans will have the possibility to see all the games of the national team. This was announced by the president Mihail Mihov.

"The fans will be selected after a draw. On October 11th starts the National Basketball League and on every game there will be a fan selected after a draw who will go to Eurobasket" said Mihov.

"Bulgaria has a lot of potential and can develop basketball in a good way" said Pini Gershon in front of the media. "Whole Europe is talking about the fact that Bulgaria qualified for the European championship. I think that if we get more than one win in Poland will be a success. We have to find sponsors and move forward. If we want to have 10 more players like Todor Stoykov we have to invest in basketball because the potential is here and if we develop the championship everything will go in the right direction".
