Lukoil Academic beat Yambol by 31 points

In front of 1300 spectators in Diana Hall in Yambol the hosts lost to Lukoil Academic 62-93. This was second defeat for Ivan Cholakov's team from four games while the students are on top of the standings with four wins from four games.

Despite going out on the court ready to play well Yambol organized the attack very difficult in the first minutes. The players of Lukoil Academic took full advantage from that and quickly managed to take a good advantage of 10 points. At the end of the quarter the margin was cut to 6 after two three pointers.

In the second quarter the players of Yambol played very well and were close to their opponents as after 15 minutes of play they were down only by 2 points. In the next five minutes the visitors played extremely well and scored 25 points against 4 for the hosts and took 21 point lead at the break and actually the game was over at that moment. After the break nothing interesting happened as the visitors were playing with confidence and managed to win by 31 points at the end.

For Yambol top scorer was Stanislav Govedarov with 16 while O'Galagher added 13.

For Lukoil Academic Tim Pickett scored 28 while Kenny Adeleke managed double-double with 15 points and incredible 18 rebounds. Todor Stoykov and Chavdar Kostov both added 14 points.
