Euroins Cherno More won versus Rilski sportist in Varna

The players of Rilski Sportist didn`t succeed in their attempt to defeat Euroins Cherno More and lost for third time in the regular season. The players of Aleksandar Todorov lost 67-85 in Hristo Borisov Hall in Varna.

The game was even at the start and both teams were making mistakes in the first minutes. The lead was changing a lot of teams in those moments and the lead wasn`t more than 2-3 points for either side. The good moments for the hosts came at the end of the first quarter when Plamen Aleksiev scored a 3-pointer just seconds before the end and gave six point lead to his team, 23-17.

The game continued in the same tempo but thanks to Corey McIntosh in attack and Simo Tsenov in defense the hosts took an 11-point lead. The visitors managed to cut it to 7 after triple by Belberov with 5 seconds to go in the first half.

After the break the game continued to be very intensed. Euroins Cherno More was trying to pull away and at times the visitors did succeed in cutting their deficit to minimum. Simeon Tsenov proved that he deserves more playing time while Aleksandar Yanev was penetrating through the Samokov defense as their team was ahead 59-49 after three quarters.

During the last one the hosts were inspired and wished more the win and managed to make their lead untouchable. They won all the quarters and at the end won by 18 points being happy from their work in the game.

Another very good game had Corey McIntosh who finished with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Simeon Tsenov also came in very good as he made 15 points and 12 rebounds. Aleksandar Yanev scored 19 for the winners.

Travis Peterson again had a very fine game for Rilski Sportist as he ended with 19 points and 16 rebounds. Lilov scored 16 while Papic added 15 for the visitors who surely missed the injured players Bogdan Boev and their captain Aleksandar Gruev.
