Rilski Sportist started practice today

Todorov and Gruev will look for success this year

The men team of Rilski Sportist started the preparation for the new season today. Just like the last season Aleksandar Todorov will be the head coach of the team. He will have a new assistant this year - 25-year old Bojidar Gyorev.

For seventh straight season Aleksandar Gruev will play for Rilski Sportist. He will also remain as captain of the team. In the team for next year will be Travis Peterson and Bogdan Boev as well as the juniors Dimitar Morunov, Stanislav Vaklinov, Krasimir Georgiev and Lyubomir Kirov. The youngster Mario Karailiev, born in 1993, will start preparation with the team as well.

There will be four new signings at least for now in Rilski Sportist. The most known of them is Simeon Naydenov. There will be a new American center David Burgess and also two Serbian players Srdan Zivkovic and Perica Matic.

During season 2009/2010 doctor of the team will be Rumen Bonchev while as physio will remain Filip Georgiev.
