Third absolutely new name in the last 48 hours was pronounced for sure addition in the roster of Bulgarian champion and National Cup holder Lukoil Academic. After signings of US power forward Isaac Wells (203-F-85, college: Arkansas St.) from Swiss vice-champion Lugano Tigers and Serbian back-up point guard Branko Mirkovic (185-G-82) from Balkan league winner Rilski sportist, Lukoil closed the deal with Ernest Brown (213-C-79, college: Indian Hills CC).
213 cm tall American center is coming from Cyprus. There he played for Apollon: 11,6 points, 7,6 rebounds and 1,1 block shots per game. Brown was born in 1979 in Bronx, NY. He was drafted by Miami Heat in 2000 (52, 2 round). The big guy spent 2001/2002 with the Heat and 2002/2003, but almost didnt show up his face on the court. Brown tried twice to stay in NBA, but was released just before the season from San Antonio Spurs (2003/2004) and Boston Celtics (2004/2005).
