Bulgarian Lukoil Academic is on fire at the summer market. After announcing two Americans in the roster for the last 48 hours - Isaac Wells and Ernest Brown, the champions didn't stop till they got the biggest surprise in their team- Walker Russell-Junior.
188 cm tall point guard is replacing Willie Deane in Lukoil. He already signed a contract with The Students. Russell already has a back-up - Bosnian playmaker Branko Mirkovic, who decided to join Akademik two days ago after long and hard negotiations. 27-yeard old Russell is coming with reputation of a great master of assists. Last season in NBA D-League Walker finished at the first place with 10,8 per game.
