Branko Mirkovic agreed terms with Lukoil Academic

Bulgarian champion Lukoil Academic agreed terms with former point guard of Rilski sportist Branko Mirkovic. 185 cm Serbian will sign a contract for the rest of the season and maybe 1+1 with The Students. Mirkovic was among the best players of Rilski sportist since 2007, but this summer decided to leave.
In Lukoil Academic, 27-years old Serbian will play like a back-up point guard. The Students already signed an American playmaker, but will announce his name till the end of the week. Last year Bulgarian top club started with Antonio Burks at PG position, changed him a week before the first game of the team in Eurocup with Kevin Kruger. But Kruger left less than a month after his arriving and left the door opened for Tony Akins. And Akins didn't finish the League, took the plane for home and finally Lukoil brought back Willie Deane.
