Tsvetelin Ivanov will play in Romania

Tsvetelin Ivanov (196-G-89) will continue his career in Romania. After many speculations that he already agreed with Chernomorets Burgas, the player got an offer from Brasov and he accepted it. Ivanov is a product of Levski Sophia, where he played until this summer. Last season he appeared in 9 NBL games averaging 3.2 ppg and 2 rpg. In Balkan league he got a chance in 4 games scoring 4 ppg. That was his second season with the senior team.

Tsvetelin Ivanov was a member of U20 Bulgaria this summer at U20 EuroBasket division B in Skopje. In 7 games he averaged 5.9 ppg and 2 rpg. Two years before Ivanov was a part of U18 Bulgaria. They took participation on U18 EuroBasket in Madrid and new player of CSU Brasov had 8.6 ppg and 2.6 rpg for 5 games. In 2005 he was a member of U16 Bulgaria meaning that Ivanov completed his service for all Bulgarian youth NT selections. Last season he won the National Cup with Levski and reached Playoff Semifinals.

CSU Brasov will participate in Balkan league for the second consecutive time. Last season they failed to reach the Playoffs. In Romanian league Brasov played in Quarterfinals. However, there Otopeni was better 0-2.
