Rilski Sportist easy over Cherno More in Kavadarci
It was clear from the opening quarter who the winner of this game will be, as Rilski players took control from the beginning and did not let it until the final horn. After initial 10 minutes of play, Rilski held 31-20 lead. In the second quarter, Cherno More players started playing better, but they could not make a run, as Rilski constantly hanged around. At the halftime, Rilski had comfortable 53-44. After the beak, they continued to pile pressure on the Cherno More players and they simply could not find solution fir this. Rilski went on to win both quarters in the second half and record a comfortable victory.
For the winning side, Travis Peterson (208-C-85) had a great showing with 20 poitns. Aleksandar Gruev (187-G-83) led the scorers for Rilski with 21 points, while Dave Burgess (208-C) finshed the night with 15. Bogdan Boev (196-G-82) and Georgi Davidov (201-C-76) scored 14 apiece for Rilski. On the other hand, Cherno More had only three players who were up for the task.
Eric Webb (188-G-84) was good with 24 points, shooting 4 for 8 from behind the arc. Simeon Tsenov (196-F-82) was close woth 20 points while Pavels Veselovs (207-F/C-83) finished the mathc with 15 poitns and 6 rebounds.
