Levski with injury problems ahead of Balkan League

The Evtimov brother, Vasil and Ilian and the American Jason Smith are having some problems before the first game of Levski in the Balkan league. The game against Feni Industry is on saturday at 18.00 in Universiada hall.

"Jason played very good game against Yambol. He played good in the other games as well. He has a problem with the stomach disorder. Vasko Evtimov also had problems today. I hope it's not epidemic. The situation with Jason is more serious but I believe he'll be able to play in two days. We have a problem with Ilian Evtimov as well. He is a player with whom both sides are helping each other. He is training with us, we're giving him a chance to be in good condition because is waiting for a call. In the game against Pirot he injured his thigh. We're protecting him and he is protecting himself because his future is on the line" made his comments the head coach of Levski Titi Papazov.

Papazov confirmed also the team's interest in Gjorgi Cekovski. "Cekovski is very good player and I have good memories with him. I respect him a lot as a player, I respect him a lot as a human. I know he is very motivated because he didn't receive his last monthly salary from Lukoil Academic. Probably right after Ilian leaves us Cekovski will be the one who replaces him. He is a player with big heart. One of the things the team is missing right now is the good play in defense. With him we're having a little missunderstandings about the financial terms but I think an agreement is very near. For him it will be an interesting challenge - to go out against Lukoil Academic."
