CSKA with big chances for Women's Euroleague

The Women’s team of [b]CSKA[/b] has big chances to play in [b]FIBA Euroleague[/b] next season, informed [i]gong.bg[/i].[b]FIBA[/b] already talked about eventual increasing the numbers of participating teams from 18 to 24. Until end of May when FIBA Europe will have next meeting it is expected the proposal to discuss. [i]“Our chances to get among those 6 additional teams are very big”[/i], said the sports director of CSKA [b]Rosen Barchovski[/b] after talk with executive director of Bulgarian Basketball Federation [b]Ivan Tsenov[/b]. [b]Barchovski[/b] also said that there is possible of [b]Tiffany Johnson[/b] to stay with [b]CSKA[/b] until the end of the season while [b]Latasha Byears[/b] is leaving for sure after she signed contract with [b]Houston Comets[/b]. In the meantime Serbian [b]Tanja Cirov[/b] will apply for Bulgarian citizenship as the management of the club is ready with all necessary papers. It will take up to 2 months for her to get Bulgarian passport.
